Valuation; The first step is to apply for a valuation on the property This will be done by an independent company approved by the Bank of Spain. The costs for this valuations is about 300 €. |

Documents; One's this has been done, the bank needs the following documents; a) Passport or Residence Permit b) Privat Purchase Contract c) Last Receipt of the Townhalltax d) Copy last Tax declaration e) Copy last two Payslips (if you are self-employd, VAT and income declarations). |

Interest Rate; The Interest Rate is very low in Spain. The first year will be between 4.75% and 5.25%. After the first year, the interest rate is related to the official European Bank Rate (Euroibor). The total costs to establish a mortgage on your property is about 3% over the value of the mortgage, including Notary, Property Registry Office, Taxes and Bankfees. |

Final Amount; The final amount depends on the valuation of the property and the documentation provided by the customer. You will have the obligation to sign an insurance policy for the property with the bank. The bank will process the oparation for the mortgage in just a few weeks. |
